Born on the Central Coast in NSW, raised in Melbourne, VIC and now living on the Sunshine Coast in QLD, Simon has always been a keen sportsman. Though he will argue that he was average at everything, and anyone who knew him in high-school would be very surprised to know that he is now a professional athlete.
Simon took his professional licence in late 2018 following overall age-group wins at both Ironman 70.3 Cairns and Sunshine Coast (he wanted to prove that Cairns was not a fluke, despite setting a new course record).
Simon is looking forward to the opportunity to race internationally, once the world allows.
Simon is proudly supported by his incredibly tolerant wife Hannah, and is coached by David Tilbury-Davis.
